Program Information

The Postdoctoral Fellow position provides a range of counseling and psychological services with an emphasis on multicultural counseling and issues of social justice. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the delivery of individual, couples and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, case management, and intake assessments. Fellows will also actively participate in weekly case disposition meetings, center committees, and provided campus-based outreach and consultation.

This is year long position and would start at candidate's availability. The annual salary is $47,476 including full benefits. According to University of California policies, this fellowship is considered a sensitive position and requires completion of a successful background check prior to the start date.

Preference is given to applicants who have completed an APA accredited internship and APA accredited doctoral program in counseling or clinical psychology by the start date.

The UCI Counseling Center has a long history of providing psychological services to the UCI campus community. It is a multiculturally rich environment and the Center prides itself on a staff that is multiculturally competent and proficient in a number of areas.
