Welcome to the Counseling Center! I am excited to be part of this amazing team as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked providing case management services to children and families in the welfare system, as well as with clients struggling with severe mental illness in the inpatient mental health setting. I have also taught case management to undergraduate students at the University level. I am passionate about working with students and connecting them to the appropriate services to help them reach success in their education and life goals. My experience spans 4 years working in inpatient psychiatry and 8 years in outpatient care (IOP/PHP), where I’ve worked closely with clients to connect them to essential resources, services, and ongoing support. Hello and welcome to the UCI Counseling Center! My name is Tiana and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in both inpatient and outpatient case management settings. I received my MSW degree from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. I know this transitional period into adulthood can be difficult to navigate, which is why I am here to help support students on their mental health journey. I strive to empower students to achieve both their personal and academic goals, and to foster growth and resilience. I was born and raised in O’ahu, Hawai’i, but now live here in OC, and I’m so excited to be part of the UCI community. In my spare time, I love watching anime and trying new coffee/boba shops.
