Wisdom of Plants
If you take a moment to notice the plants around you today, you will see things blooming in all shapes and sizes. Different amounts of sun, water, and earth contribute to the life of a plant and what each one needs to survive. And at the same time, you will likely notice things and dying. The falling of leaves and blooms in decay, the natural shift of greens to browns. Plants embody the natural process of change and remind us that sometimes shedding the old makes space for the new. Other times, too much in the same space can lead to overcrowding and lack of access to resources needed to flourish. Next time you are outside, try to see if you can find the cycle of change happening in the plants around you. What wisdom do the plants have to offer you about change happening in your life right now?
